Partnership Visit to Museo Pambata

Meet-and-greet with the museum president

The Kidfinity and Beyond Foundation, Inc., spearheaded by its Founder, Ms. Athalia V. Suarez, conducted a partnership visit to Museo Pambata on 1 July 2026. The engagement began with a meet-and-greet with its president and chair of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Wilma S. Huang.

Educational tour at the museum

Ms. Athalia, together with her family and the staff of the Foundation, participated in an educational tour of the museum, exploring its child-friendly galleries and exhibition rooms showcasing arts, crafts and various aspects of Filipino culture. During the visit, Mrs. Huang also met Ms. Athalia’s father, Congressman David “Jay-Jay” C. Suarez, who has consistently shown his support for the Foundation’s advocacy and mission.

Partnering with Khan Academy Philippines

Mrs. Huang introduced the Foundation to one of the museum’s classrooms and shared its collaborative initiatives with Khan Academy Philippines, including the Adopt a School Programme and face-to-face tutoring sessions for children from underserved communities who need academic support the most. The possibility of establishing a partnership between the Foundation and Khan Academy Philippines was raised, to further assist the children of incarcerated mothers.

Formal partnership meetings

Mrs. Huang guided the group to the museum’s souvenir shop, where affordable, high-quality Filipino-made toys and souvenirs are sold in support of the museum’s programmes. Ms. Athalia and her family purchased several products in support of the museum.

Before concluding, the Foundation held a formal meeting with Mrs. Huang to discuss the objectives, requirements and prospective joint programmes for the underserved children of mothers who are Persons Deprived of Liberty. The visit concluded at 1:00 PM, followed by an internal meeting of the Foundation with its communications team, Ethos, at the Diamond Hotel Philippines.
